A Life of Outreach/Paying it Forward
Since childhood, Shanea Stepney has always felt a strong connection with her spirituality. Shanea grew up in the church her grandmother was Methodist, and her father was a Baptist. Both parents were very active in the church her grandmother was a Sunday school teacher for 35 years where sometimes it felt like faith was pushed on her.
Following her parents Shanea excepted Christ into her heart at the age of eight years old. When Shanea was 12 she left the church. This was important to Shanea as she wasn't sure what she believed anymore especially after losing both her grandmother and her father before she was 15. It's what we go through those shapes who we are. Shanea has walked many paths in life but no matter the path the destination on the other end was Christ. God delivered Shanea through the darkness and showed her, her own light.
Shanea was first introduced to the Universal Life Church in January 2020.
Shanea went through the process of becoming ordained and now she walks a new path with Christ, now she extends her services to others, Shanea shares here story openly and encourages others to do the same. It brings Shanea true pleasure to make a difference in her community helping people unite.
During the day Monday-Friday Shanea is an operations Manager for the number one largest security company in the nation. In the Evening Shanea has returned to school and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration for operations. On weekends Shanea has committed her time to A Minister for Me which she Owns and Operates Soley at this time.

A Message From Shanea:
A Minister for Me was established in 2021 however it was inspired in 2019 when my best friend of five years at the time asked me to officiate her wedding instead of being the matron of honor. of course, I accepted the task it was a huge honor after all and very unique to our story and how A Minister for me came to be.
After obsessing for about 10 months hoping I wouldn't ruin the biggest day of my best friend's life the day finally came for me to perform the wedding in November of 2020 and what an amazing job I did (well at least that's what everyone in attendance told me.) I do know there wasn't a dry eye in the house. The Dj even gave me a special shout out and all! later that night after everyone was gone the bride herself showed me so much love and appreciation, I was touched and in a lot of ways I was changed the experience awoke something in me and the idea of an entire business was born.
After a few more months of consideration. I finally made the decision to take the idea of a business and make it a reality, so that's exactly what I did a few weeks before my 31st birthday on March 15,2021 a business was born. (legally)
(Jump to today) When I started this journey almost 2 years ago now, I never imagined the possibilities and opportunities that this business would bring my way. In many ways I am truly blessed, and I'm dedicated to paying it forward; in time A Minister for me will be a household name.
Everyone is welcome no matter the color of your skin, no matter your ethnicity, no matter who you love, or which denomination you choose to be.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him shall not pass but have everlasting life", He loved us so that we may be privileged enough to love others. Happiness is not limited to who you are or what you believe; you control your happiness and your destiny.

Couples decide if they'd like the minister to wear a costume, regular clothing, custom attire and or colors. Couples decide if the minister writes the scripts/vows/nuputials if they want them to be funny, serious, heart warming, all about the bible, more about the couple etc.
